The Beatles even hired and travelled in a Daimler RV on their first Canadian tour. Classic Daimler cars were also popular with the Royal Family too, as the Queen Mother's preferred vehicle was a Daimler limousine, and in keeping with her status, this vehicle frequently followed Her Majesty the Queen's Rolls Royce during formal ceremonies. Daimler DS420 limos and hearses were utilised in the procession for Princess Diana's funeral, and a Daimler hearse was also used during the Queen Mother's funeral. Not to mention that the Queen Elizabeth II's personal car was a 2002 Daimler V8 Supercharged.
